Your information is yours. Here’s exactly what we do with it.

Who we are

SpecX LLC is a web design studio in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. This policy covers specxstudio.com and anything you send us through it. Questions go to hello@specxstudio.com.

What we collect

• What you put in the spec form: your business name, your name, your phone and/or email, the service you’re interested in, your current website, and any notes you write.
• Emails and messages you send us, and anything you share while we build your spec, like photos, menus or prices.
• Basic visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics: pages viewed, the site that sent you, and general browser, device and country. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t track you across other websites.
• Standard server records such as IP address and request time, kept by our host for security and to keep the site running.

We don’t use advertising pixels, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to you and build the website spec you asked for.
• To follow up about that spec, and to provide service if you become a client.
• To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.

We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles it

A few trusted services store or process information for us, only to run SpecX:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the visit statistics.
• Zoho runs our email, customer records and invoicing. Spec requests are saved there.
• Stripe processes payments for clients. We never see or store full card or bank numbers.

Inside SpecX, only Nick Doe and Chris Thomas see your information. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep spec requests while we’re talking with you, and client records for as long as you’re a client plus as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you don’t move forward, you can ask us to delete your request at any time.

Your choices

Email hello@specxstudio.com to see what we have about you, correct it, delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. We’ll take care of it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Clients

If you’re a SpecX client, your service agreement also covers the websites we build and host for you, including data your own customers submit through them.

Children

This site is for business owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections, and our accounts use two-factor sign-in. No system is perfect, but we treat your information the way we’d want ours treated.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
